The premium charges for Kumeu Village and the Ladybug (incl. GST) can vary depending on Level of Care and room type. 

These premium charges cover the extra service that Kumeu Village and The Ladybug offer on top of the DHB requirements and include, but are not limited to:

• higher staffing levels than DHB requirements
• large, spacious bedrooms with outdoor access
• equipment supplied for differing resident needs
• more doctors visits than required by DHB contract and on-call doctor
• premium food service and range of food options offered (all meals and baking is made from scratch by cooks and bakers)
• extensive actives program including animal activities/therapy
• residents able to bring their pets with full-time staff to help care for them (includes extra charge dependent on type of pet)
• specialised environment, designed and purpose built for our resident's needs and requirements
• rural grounds and views, farmyard with kunekune pigs, flemish giant rabbits, goats, horses, miniature horses, laying chickens, birds, and more
• beautiful sitting areas and entertainment areas (for family parties, etc.)
