The base cost per week for a permanent private paying Resident as of July 1, 2020 is $1,162.98 ($166.14 per day) including GST.

If you meet Asset Testing Threshold, the bulk of your fee may be covered by the District Health Board.

We carry a premium charge for our rooms on top of the base fee, due to the size and access of these rooms, the extra services we offer and our staffing ratios. Please contact us for more information about this charge.

Services that are included in your fees:

  • 24-hour care
  • 24 hour Registered Nursing

Services and Items that are not included in your fees:

  • The provision of aids and medical equipment, supplies and services that are not covered by either Government funding or DHB funding
  • Assessment and Rehabilitation services
  • Specialized equipment including modified wheelchairs, mobility equipment, seating systems, communication equipment, special hospital beds, personal care equipment
  • Hairdressing, podiatry, beauty services
  • Clothing and personal toiletries
  • Toll and cell phone calls
  • Insurance
  • Extra outings
  • Menu service
  • Personal training
  • Private Pool sessions
